Our mission is to grow the sport of roller hockey in the St. Louis area by teaching kids the fundamentals of the game and fostering strong relationships within the community. We believe that roller hockey is a fun and exciting sport that can provide kids with valuable life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance.

In 2003 I started coaching. I decided to start coaching because of my love for the sport. Hockey in general is something I am VERY passionate about. Throughout my years of coaching I have picked up some very valuable lessons. I,as a Coach take alot of pride in the relationships I have with the players on and off the rink. I will ALWAYS defend my players like they are my own and I will ALWAYS treat them as such. I want my kids to succeed as players and as people. I have coached many winning teams,but at the end of the day if they aren't having FUN I'm not doing my job. I will do everything to have your child winning on and off the rink. "Family first"

Jay has proven himself as a talented and dedicated coach- both on and off the rink. For the past two years, he has expertly developed and guided young players in the 8u and 10u age divisions of KAOS Hockey. Jay's passion for the game knows no bounds, as evidenced by his involvement coaching a MOIHA team and his collaborations with the KAOS President to create the youth hockey league out of Midwest Sports Hockey.

What truly sets Jay apart is his unwavering drive to inspire players to reach their full potential. Whether leading the bench with positivity and encouragement or watching as a player takes their first wobbly strides on wheels, Jay is a true champion for all levels of development. His love for the sport was ignited by his own son's curiosity and willingness to try something new. Now, with both of his sons playing, Jay has relished the opportunity to watch his teams win multiple championships while taking pride in the growth and development of each individual athlete.

Jay's dedication and commitment to the game of roller hockey is admirable, and his greatest joy comes from seeing players evolve into incredible athletes before his very eyes. His approach to coaching is nothing short of classy, and he is a truly invaluable asset to the KAOS Hockey community.

My definition on what being a coach is all about is fairly simple. I want all my players to succeed, and have fun. Being a coach isn’t just on the bench, it’s about setting a good example on and off the rink. I want to be the person your kid looks up to. I have had many coaches in my hockey career, some all about winning, some just being a role model, I strive to bring those two together. You have my word that every time I am behind the bench coaching your son or daughter I will present the best version of myself, and put forth full effort to make you kid succeed. We aren’t like other programs where all they care about is a medal, I want to help take your child to the next level and possibly open a door to something they can enjoy until they can’t anymore. I attend Lindenwood University and many skills clinics and practice I will bring some of my Lindenwood buddies to come and help your child improve his or her game. Lastly, here at KAOS we are about family, every body is welcomed with open arms. KAOS: BUILT, NOT BOUGHT!!
